Tidd Home

Originally called the Home for Aged Women in Woburn, the residential facility was established in 1886 by 15 local women for the “maintenance of respectable aged women who had outlived those near and dear to them.” In 1889, they moved the residents into the north Woburn mansion that had been donated by Mr. and Mrs. William Tidd. The home was renamed Tidd Home in 1953 to honor the Tidd family legacy.
